SFP Works

Software Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the conditions that apply when you purchase, access, or use SFP Works tax software through Swift Financial Partners, LLC.

Provider: Swift Financial Partners, LLC
2026 Promotional Offer: Ends December 31, 2026
Governing Law: Ohio

Important: Promotional pricing, payment plans, rebates, bank-product incentives, and other limited-time offers may have additional eligibility requirements. Any offer-specific terms presented at checkout, on an invoice, or in a written program agreement supplement these general SFP Works terms.

1. Agreement Overview

By purchasing, activating, accessing, or using SFP Works, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any additional written terms that apply to the package, payment option, bank product, promotion, or program you select.

SFP Works is provided through Swift Financial Partners, LLC (“SwiftFP,” “we,” “our,” or “Software Provider”) for use by eligible tax professionals and tax businesses.

2. Eligibility

SFP Works is intended for professional tax preparation businesses, including independent tax preparers, accounting professionals, Electronic Return Originators (EROs), and approved service bureaus.

Where electronic filing is required, users must maintain a valid Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) and provide verification when requested. Users are responsible for maintaining all licenses, registrations, credentials, and approvals required for their business and tax preparation activities.

New to the industry? Software access does not replace the tax-law knowledge, professional credentials, EFIN, PTIN, or other requirements that may apply to preparing or electronically filing tax returns.

3. Software Pricing & Payment

SFP Works is licensed on an annual basis. Your applicable software price, included returns, per-return charges, technology fees, transmission fees, service bureau fees, add-ons, rebates, or incentives are determined by the package or written offer selected at the time of purchase.

Payment plans

If you select an approved payment plan, a $99 non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the license. Any remaining balance is due according to the deadline shown on your invoice, checkout page, or payment-plan agreement.

Customers who pay in full are not subject to a payment-plan deposit unless expressly stated as part of the selected offer.

4. License & Authorized Use

SwiftFP grants each licensed customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SFP Works for the customer’s authorized tax preparation business during the applicable license term.

  • The software may not be copied, redistributed, resold, sublicensed, or made available to an unauthorized third party.
  • Service bureau, reseller, co-branded, or multi-office rights require a separate written agreement or written approval from SwiftFP.
  • Login credentials and access rights must be limited to authorized users within the licensed business.

Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, franchise, agency, or joint-venture relationship between SwiftFP and the licensed tax business.

5. Renewal & Cancellation

SFP Works licenses are issued for the applicable annual tax-software cycle. Renewal pricing, packages, incentives, and available features may change from year to year.

If your account is enrolled in automatic renewal or a separately executed recurring-payment arrangement, the renewal and cancellation terms shown in that agreement will control. Otherwise, a new annual purchase or renewal authorization may be required.

6. Support, Training & Software Updates

During the active license period, SwiftFP may provide software onboarding, technical assistance, training resources, and support related to use of SFP Works and supported integrations.

Support is intended to assist with software operation, setup, workflow, and supported program services. SwiftFP support does not constitute tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and it does not replace the tax professional’s responsibility to determine the correct tax treatment for a return.

Software features, forms, calculations, integrations, and supported services may be updated throughout the tax year as updates become available.

7. Bank Products & Third-Party Services

Refund transfers, refund advances, tax-office loans, financial products, payment processing, transmission services, and other third-party services may be offered through participating banks, processors, transmitters, or other providers.

Eligibility, approval, fees, limits, funding times, availability, and program requirements are determined by the applicable third-party provider. SwiftFP does not guarantee approval, funding, loan amounts, processing times, or continued availability of any third-party product.

8. Refund Policy

Unless a different written refund policy applies to the specific purchase, refund requests must be submitted within 72 hours of purchase and are subject to SwiftFP’s established refund procedures.

Non-refundable deposits, activated services, consumed return credits, third-party fees, completed onboarding services, or other items identified as non-refundable at purchase may not qualify for a refund.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for protecting account credentials, supervising authorized users, maintaining accurate business and EFIN information, safeguarding taxpayer information, and complying with applicable federal and state laws, IRS requirements, data-security requirements, and professional standards.

The licensed tax business remains responsible for the preparation, review, accuracy, authorization, and filing of all tax returns prepared through its account.

10. Changes to These Terms

SwiftFP may update these terms when necessary to reflect changes to SFP Works, applicable services, legal requirements, or business operations. Material changes will be posted or otherwise communicated through an appropriate customer channel. Continued use of SFP Works after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any venue or dispute-resolution requirement contained in a separately signed agreement will control where applicable.
